Many of these groups will allow you only five or ten minutes of speaking time. Others will allow you to speak for up to 30 minutes. Either way, the opportunity is golden! Begin the talk by introducing yourself and what you do (remember the ‘nutshell statement’!). Give your speech in a friendly, conversational way, taking questions from the audience at least once.
